The _vti files and folders are for FrontPage server extensions to use. They
contain meta-data about the files and folders on the web. You should never
mess with these.
The /images folder is simply for your convenience, for storing image files.
The _private folder is used by FrontPage for files that should not be
accessible to the public. You can also use this folder for this purpose.
