vs. SpyBot

I ran this new spyware program, Updated the software,
scanned for Spyware. I then went in and made sure that it
was doing a DEEP scan and Scanned again. it found nothing.

I then ran SpyBot and it finds over 24!

What gives here?

I hear that. get this. i ran norton, avg, ad-aware, and panda all with the
latest updates and doing deep scans - all clean. i ran spybot and it found 96
viruses. thats one quality program!

Spybot Search & destroy did not find 96 viruses.

It found 96 cookies, a category that the other apps you note either don't
target, or perhaps did not scan for--ad-aware is the only one which might
have done this. I haven't noticed significant differences between
Lavasoft's Ad-aware and Spybot Search & destroy in terms of cookie
detections--but there could be some.

A cookie is not a virus by any stretch of the imagination.
