VS 2005 and Vista ???

Dear all,

I was wonderaing if you guys have already install VS 2005 under Vista. In
fact when installing it Vista wrn you abour a known compatibility issue but
you are still able to install it.

Then each time you try to run it , you will get the same warning even
launching it under elevated priviledges. Microsft plan for the what sounds
like a patch first quarter of 2007, lets say april...

Did you run it any way even with that warning ? I mean doe sit sounds safe
anyway even it reports for not beeing it ?

Thanks for information
regards
Serge

Michael is correct, Serge.
I'm using VS 2005 without issues since I cured some scripts being blocked by
setting it up to run with administrative rights.

Hello calderara,

if u even switch to admin it doesnt help. It doesnt work well neither with
Admin, nor turned off UAC
VS2005 need SP1 which fix all security issues

Can you be more specific about the problems you're encountering?
I've done some small test solutions with C# Windows and web, C++ console,
MFC and CLI, and some VB Windows apps without incident. Where do the
problems crop up, and what are the symptoms?
