I am having a problem viewing any resources on my win2003
server via vpn.

I connect from home into my office via pptp vpn,
I do receive an IP and it says I am connected
I can't see anything, I tried \\server\root
It comes back can't find it.
any clue what I have overlooked.

It is probably a name resolution problem. Does your client receive the
correct DNS address when it connects?

On the client, click the connection icon which appears in the task bar
when you connect, then click the "Details" tab. This will show you the VPN
IP address of the client and server. Try using the server's IP address to
connect to a share on the server. (ie \\<ipaddresss>\sharename).
