VPN through 2 Cable Modems

Is it possible, with Microsoft technology, to aggregate 2 cable modems so I
can use the bandwidth of both for a VPN to head office? Kind of like did for
DUN access in the past.

I know there are hardware products that will do this but I am wanting to use
the licensing my client already has. They are using simple router\firewalls
between the network and cable modems.

AFAIK this is not possible in software. Sometimes a hardware solution is
the only solution.
