I have upgraded from ME to XP Pro.

One step I had to take to set up VPN in ME I went to My
Network Places, then to, TCP/IP Properties, then to DNS
configuation tab.

In this tab I click "Enable DNS" and add a host and
domain name.

In XP I can not replicate this procedure. No where
is "Enable DNS" to be found in the TCP/IP page of Network
Configuration.

I have set up the VPN, just need to add the "host"
and "domain".

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Your host name is set in the "System" Control Panel applet (Computer
Name tab) and your domain name in the TCP/IP connections.

Just a question - why do you need to set this for the VPN? All you
should need is the address of the VPN server and the IP's of the
DNS/WINS server if they aren't already provided.
