VPN question

Chuck

Here's my setup. I have a laptop (XP Pro) and a desktop PC (XP Home). At
home I have a wireless router with built in DHCP. When using the laptop
at home I can access the desktop by it's name which is what I want.

When I take the laptop to work I connect to the home PC using OpenVPN
(Windows' built-in VPN couldn't be configured to change the port# so I
had to use something else). It assigns a private LAN IP of 10.8.0.1 for
the Home PC but I can only access it using the IP. What do I need to set
up to be able to access the home PC buy it's name over the VPN?

TIA.
