VPN (PPTP) drop after about 1 min

Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me how I get the fix listed in Q331816. MS
appear to acknowledge a problem with VPNs dropping when
ICS is in use but I can't get the fix (the two files
listed are defenitely more recent than the ones installed
on the compaq NX9010 I have with the problem.

I'm not actually using ICS but can find no other
explanation for this. I have another identical machine
which is not showing the problem.

Any pointers or views would be appreciate.
