VPN into 2000 server

Hi

We have a windows 2000 server which we want to connect from home to using VPN

We have a dlink wireless router and a static IP address

the server only has 1 NIC card

what is the best/easy way to setup the VPN
also, when setting up,

We can ping he Static IP address and if we type into a browser it brings up
a Under Construction page, so i assume we are getting to the server.

Any and all help would be most welcome.

Thanks

Steven

I personally prefer letting a hardare router/firewall (like a Sonicwall,
etc) on your corporate network act as the endpoint for the VPN connection &
use IPSec VPN. That's just me, tho. Means your server itself doesn't have to
know anything about routing.

The public or private one?

Steven, if you receive that "under construction page" .... then you have IIS
installed on that server (if you don't need it, remove it). VPN acces can be
controlled by using Routing and Remote Access console from Windows 2000
server (in win 2000 Pro just run the wizard make new connection from network
properties window).
