VPN doesn't see host computer

I have a VPN tunnel established (at least the linksys router and the
softremote client software say it's connected). I can ping both ends of the
tunnel so the connection is there.

But, nothing is showing up in network places on the remote to allow me
access to the host computer.

Is there some magic setting that's holding it up?

Both ends of the tunnel have Windows XP. File/print share is enabled on the
host computer.

On the remote file/print share is enabled on the internal net adaptor, but
it will not enable on the dial-up network connectin.

Any suggestions?
 
By default, VPN will not broadcast "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" Windows info across
the connections. You need to turn on this at both ends.
