vpn disconnect on wireless connection

Help, on my wireless connection when connnect to a vpn connection it
terminates after 10-15 seconds.
can someone help me resolve this issue.

i had this same issue using both linksys and dlink wireless cards, i have
windows xp so if you have xp then this may be the issue. I found that xp's
built in wireless connection manager conflicts with the 3rd party one. I
found on technet that you can go into the services and disable the "wireless
zero connection" manager and then run your wireless card connection from the
cards manufacturer provided utility. it works great on the 2 pc's I have
wireless, no disconnects now.
