VPN connection

I have server 2003 that I want to put at one of my remote sites. I have
configured rras and I can connect to my network but I can not ping or browse
any servers on my network yet I can browse the internet at the remote site. I
have a cisco pix 515e firewall which I will use for the vpn connection. I
already have rras configured on one my servers so my users can access the
network from home. I want to have the capability of using the server to
access my domain at the remote sites so the users can log in and have access
to our resources. Any suggestions on how to set this up?

not sure the issue. if you have Cisco 515 pix, you can setup it as vpn
server. if you want to setup rras on windows server, you need to configure
pix to allow tcp 1723 and ip port 47.

I have set up a test area now. I currently have 2003 server linked up to a
router that is connected to a hub outside of my firewall . I am connecting to
my vpn tunnel I have created in my pix 515. I am able to connect through the
tunnel however I can still only browse the internet and cannot ping any of my
servers on the domain or access any resources yet I can ping the 515. I want
my users to be able to log on to the local domain from the remote site
through the server. Am I configuring this wrong or do I need another 515 or
VPN router at the remote site and have to make a site to site connection.

For a sit-to-site VPN link, you need to have a router at each end. You
also need to have sufficient routing info on each router to send traffic for
the "other" site through the VPN link. Look in Help or at mcrosoft.com/vpn
or use Google for info or router to router VPN.
