VPN and Live Messenger...

I dunno if anyone else is experiencing this or not, but I figured I'd share
my strange and consistant experience.

Whenever I log into VPN after already establishing a Messenger Live Online
status, The Icon goes to Logged out, then the WINDOWS messenger application
logs me back in. Live messenger informs me that I logged in at another
location, then I have to log back into Live messenger.

The funky thing is I as a matter of principal UNINSTALL windows messenger,
from all computers I manage. So how this library still remains is beyond me.
(I think MS needs it for OUtlook etc?)

Anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps even a VPN clinet setting I am not
aware of? I specifying a remote DNS server and I do NOT use the remote
gateway.

Thanks in advance for any help

Ok it's me again... I read some posts on here, and this is what i did based
upon what i read. I Uninstalled Windows Messenger the COMMAND LINE Way,
since I supposedly had already un-installed it via add/remove windows
components. Then My Live Messenger started acting like complete crap.. so I
Uninstalled Live messenger next. THEN I re-installed Live messenger. SO FAR
No problems... and get this I LOGGED INTO VPN and NEVER LOST CONNECTION!
That is a first. If I notice any bad behavior I will post, but honestly this
is looking like what i needed to do. No dropped VPN status either, and that
is a bonus.

Good Luck all!
