VPN 2 way

R

repo

hi,

could any one tell me if this is possible.
2 windows machines. XP pro to server 2k
machine A initiates a vpn connection to box B.
data etc moves freely from A to B. Is it possible to have someone on machine
B use this connection to connect to machine A, perhaps using something like
VNC to view machine A.
the reason i ask, 2 PC's.. different ISP. one is behind NAT (on ISP side)
the other isn't

regards

It shouldn't need any extra software. When the connection is up, there is
a point-to-point link between them, and the server will have a host route to
the client through the link. You should be able to ping it by its "virtual"
IP. All you user at the server end needs is valid credentials on the client
(you may need to use the "connect as .. " option) and some way to resolve
the machine name to its IP if you need to access it by name.
