Volumn Control

How do I set the volumn of my cd player to be controlled
by the CD volumn selector? Currently the Wave selector
also controls the cd player. I can't seem to figure it
out, and when I turn the volumn to hear the cd, the
windows "beeps" and other sound files are extremely loud.

Jax, I will assume that your system is an xp desktop as is mine, but go
to control panel>sounds & audio> sounds & devices> and then adjust speakers,
volume, or themes. System sound can be arranged there.
