volume icon is ALWAYS disappearing from system tray in
upper right corner. Always have to go and send to
taskbar and hit apply over and over. Way to permanently
place it there?? something overriding me having it
there??

Hi!Steve!
Volume Control Icon Disappears from the Notification Area:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad
by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Right-click an open area of the tray.
Click PROPERTIES|CUSTOMIZE
Be sure it's not being hidden.

The Taskbar is probably locked, which overrides your attempts. Right-click
a blank area on Taskbar and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar"; Then open dialog
box via Properties and make your changes. Re-lock the taskbar.
