volume control

My volume control tool does not appear when I click on
the speaker in the system icon tray. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks

control panel> sounds>on the volume tab unclick "place
volume tab on taskbar" and then reboot.then go back and
click "place volume tab on taskbar" I don'w know if this
will work but its worth a try.
