Volume Control

accidentally removed some audio device using Add or
Remove Programs in Control Panel. When I try to play some
audio, I get a message saying there are no audio mixer
devices available. "To install mixer devices," it
says, "go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other
Hardware, and then click Add Hardware." I tried this and
it says all the audio devices from the list it gives are
working properly, and nothing comes up when I search for
hardware.

How can I fix this?

Remove your current audio device (eg. SoundBlaster, Yamaha, etc.) from the
Device Manager.
And do a Scan For New Hardware to reinstall your audio device.
You may need the CD which bundled from your audio card or motherboard.
