Hi! i have a problem when i try to play music on my PC. The music is allright
(although i need to put the volume almost at its maximum) but the voices
sound terrible, very distant and resonnant!! Does anybody knows what can
cause this?? i checked the microphone from my webcam, but it's on "mute". Is
there anything else i need to check??? thank you!

Sounds like an overdose of Reverb being added by your player software.

You don't give any clue as to what player you use. By the way, it might be
wise to use different players, so that you can judge yourself if such a
problem is limited to one player.

I would check settings like in Windows Media Player:
View | Enhancements
Tools | Options | Plug-ins | Audio_DSP (accessible via other ways too)

In WinAmp I'd check the Options and the Equalizer Presets.

Hi! thank you for your answer. I use ITUNES currently. I tried to play the
songs with windows media player and although it was better i still could hear
the resonnance. So for the moment i experiment with the volume,(sometimes
turning it down helps!) i stopped using the 3d surround option on my speakers
and it's better...i don't know why. Anyway, thank you again and if you have
another idea of what might cause this please let me know!

Something similar happened to me once. Somehow, my sound card's ambience
setting got set to something other than "None". Check your sound card's
ambience--might be set to "cave" or "mountains" or something weird.
