voice recognition problem

Ross M. Greenberg

I use the Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 to overcome a handicap I have the
prevents me from typing. Previously, I had no problem using Dragon
NaturallySpeaking. Since updating to Word 2003 by Dragon NaturallySpeaking
no longer functions -- at least not in a Word 2003. This note, as an
example, is "written" using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, however window I have
open simultaneously to Word 2003 causes the voice recognition software not a
function when the word window is active.

As you can imagine, as a journalist, I sort of needed the ability to have a
software function properly. It works like a champ in WordPad, Notepad,
WordPerfect, and various other word processing programs. Just not in Word
2003!

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks.

Since your problem relates to Word it would be best to
post your question in a Microsoft Word newsgroup.
