Anybody try this and get it working or know of a beta version of the
software that will work with Vista?

If you can extract the drivers manually from the temporary directory where
the MSI package has put the files, you should be able to right click on the
device in Device Manager, point the wizard to the temporary directory and
update the device there )

Zack,

I have not yet got to installing the pcmcia 3G card, still in the process of
installing the required software to make the card work. The software installs
first and then during the install you insert the card. I can not get to
install the software.

Thanks,

Garth,

I got the latest Mobile connect software from the Vodafone website. It
installed ok. Though even since I now have no networks to connect to wireless
or network cable and the Vodafone software does not start.

Garth,

I got the latest Mobile 3G software from the vodefone website. It installed
ok but even since I now have no networks to connect to in Vista, either
wireless or if I plug the pc into a network cable. The vodafone software does
not start either when it does install properly.

Dean,

Firstly, thank you very much for replying to my post, really do appreciate it.

Secondly I have had to go back to XP due to reliability problems and
software not working. I will try again with RC1 if it comes out. Really is a
pity as I prefer Vista it is really awesome.

Thanks,

Garth.

Garth,

In the end services didn't start on boot up and Windows Vista became, non
responsive. I finally got Mobile Connect removed after waiting an hour for
the uninstall and now everything seems to be working ok again.
Though I doubt I will be installing Mobile connect again.
