VNC without XP login possible

Hi out there,

I have installed the realvnc server and I when I start the server I can
perfectly connect from a client machine.

The problem for me now is that I do not have a keyboard or monitor
connected to my server (because it will be installed in the wardrobe
:) ). Is it possible to install vnc as a service, so that I do not
have to login to xp and start the server (or have it in autostart)?

I can start the Start-Menü entry "register vnc as service". Then it
will prompt a message box "vnc is already registered as a service". But
it is not reachable for a client. What do I do wrong?

Thanks for any hints,

Bernd

Is the service running? Go to "Start -> Run" and type services.msc in the
command window. Make sure its configured for "Automatic" and its status is
"Started"...

Have a look at http://www.vncscan.com. maybe they will have what you need.
It pushes VNC to remote computers and starts it as a service.
