I have an Excel 2003 template that contains vlookup links to 2 other
workbooks. Everytime I reopen the file, I get the error message "unable to
read file". The only way I can get the links to work is by re-opening the
other 2 workbooks. I have done this in the past with no problems. I do not
want to have to open the other 2 workbooks and need the links to be
accessible. When I check the status of the links through "Edit LInks" they
show as Warning: Values not updated. Is the problem with the template or the
other 2 files being referenced?
