vlookup formulas

Hi! I am using a Vlookup to return a date, if the date exists.
Problem = if a date does not exist, I get a return value of 1/0/00
I want it to return an empty cell. How?
You guys are great! Thanks for being here
 
I think that you are asking an Excel question in an Access forum. Access uses
DLookup.
