VITSA Home Premium with WORD 07 - does not read XP-2000 Hebrew

Upgraded to VISTA from 2K. Had a file that had been written in WIN2K with
WORD 03 in English and Hebrew. VISTA-WORD 07 cannot read the HEBREW sections
of it. English is OK. For the HEB characters, VISTA-WORD 07 displays
Greek-like Symbols, slashes and undefinable Greek-looking characters or
undefinable Symbols. Tried everything in CTRL Panel: REGIONS, Kbd Languages,
Time Zones, Clocks, etc...No Go. still displays garbage for HEB letters. But:
I can write a HEB file in VISTA-WORD 07, save it and read it back PERFECT!
It's that VISTA-WORD 07 cannot yet read HEB that was created BELOW VISTA!
Have been working with Tech Support - cost me $65 with tax - for a ticket the
duration of which is limited to three (3) days. Any info would be appreciated.

Problem solved. After four (4) days of intense HP Support on it, HP advised
to load DAVKA WRITER (DW) on VISTA. That solved the problem instantly. The
problem is, that VISTA does not have the FONT necessary to display
BELOW-VISTA Hebrew. Rather, it has its OWN NATIVE HEB FONT, which is not
compatible with BELOW-VISTA HEB. Once DW got loaded, it (DW) loaded its own
DavidD FONT causing VISTA to become cognizant of it. This enabled all
previous BELOW-VISTA HEB files to begin reading perfect.
MY DW was Relase 2.2.3. Year 2001. But there exists now a brand new DW at
Rel 6. Good luck. Be Mazal.
