Visual Studio - Do I need the MSDN Subscription?

JB

Just a few questions if anyone could oblige.

I'm looking into buying a few of copies of Visual Studio 2005
Professional, but am unsure whether to get them with the MSDN
Subscription or not.
I've been looking on the MS website here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa718657.aspx
which compares the different options, but it hasn't really answered my
question.

My take on that is that you get all this free software for testing
purposes (Vista, server 2k3, office etc) as well as a few handy little
utilities. Is this right?

While some of these may be handy, i dont think they would be necessary
for me. All i think i really need is the Libraries/knowledgebase/help
files etc.
Having never bought a copy of visual studio before I am not sure as to
what is available to it with a standard purchase.
Are all the MSDN Libraries available for free on t'internet?

Are there any other reasons for me to spend the extra money on the
subscriptions?

Cheers.

it depends on your requirements.
if you will be using VS only there is no need to have the MSDN subscription,
because it more suitable for small organization rather the personal using
MSDN provides u the set of their product like Windows, Office, Biztalk, SQL
Server and etc with licences

For test reasons you can download them and use for the limited time
