Visual Studio help is MSDN 2001 but pages do not show up

MSDN is set as the help source for Visual Studio 6.0. When I open help the
left panel, navigation, works OK. But as soon as I select a topic the right
plaincomplaints about not finding the topic and suggests that the internet
connections is no goo. I am connected to the internet but I did not expect to
need it. I thought all the help content would be installed locally.
Any ideas?

Try posting your message to a newsgroup for one of the VS6 products like
C++ or VB. This is a .Net programming newsgroup.
