Hello everyone,
I've never posted here before, so forgive me if this is the wrong place
for this. I don't think that I've actually ever posted anything, so
I'm pretty new.
Anyway, if someone knows how to help with my problem, I'd appreciate it
very much. Here it is:
I am having a problem with the way the box "display properties" looks.
When I try to bring up this box (by right clicking on the desktop and
selecting "properties", it looks kind of garbled and mostly blank.
Also, when I right click on the gmail notifier in the taskbar (you
know, on the right hand side at the bottom), to try to select "go to
inbox" or "check mail now" or something like that, it will often bring
up the little menu as if I had right clicked on a blank part of the
taskbar.
Sorry I don't know all the right lingo for this. I don't know if maybe
some program that I have installed is causing this, or if maybe a
system file is corrupt or something like that and I have no idea what
to do. Windows and MS Office are all up to date and I know that it's
not a virus or any kind of spyware (I use NOD32 by ESET and spybot,
ad-aware et al..).
I took some screenshots of what this looks like, but I don't know how
to post them here. I'd be happy to email them to any and all who would
like to take a look.
Thanks in advance for the help.
