Visual C++ Runtime Error

After running Comcast Video Mail, I recieve this error:
C:\PROGRA~1\CCMCAS~1\dlls\wcamxmp.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Comcast Video Mail but it does not
seem to change the coding behind the scenes. Of course microsoft wants to
charge me $35 to see if they can fix it. I'm thinking there has to be another
way.

No, because, which Driver?? Anyway, do not believe this is problem, this is
a new computer...worked great 1 1/2 months...then, all at once, this trouble
came on. No driver updates performed, etc. Then, reinstalling OS 3 times
does not resolve....So, something is either going bad (hardware) or there is
some conflict which 'just came on' with me doing nothing...new
unit....Anyway, new Motherboard, HD, does no good, new OS does no
good...suggestions?? (Besides just junk it?, and forget about the $1500
investment?) thanks....

It" a problem with the Comcast video mail software. Have you contacted
their tech support?

Try this

Go to start, RUN and type this:

regsvr32 C:\Windows\system32\msxml3.dll

Good Luck and Let us know
