"Visual Basic" Program Doesn't Always Work In PowerPoint

Hello. I am working on a resume using PowerPoint 2002, and one of the
slides contains links that open samples of my work.

I wanted to include a program (written in Visual Studio .NET 2003) that
I have written and converted to an .exe file. I inserted an image,
then set its action settings to "Run Program."

I have tested the PowerPoint show on 3 computers, and the results are
mixed:

1. The link works fine on my own computer using PowerPoint 2002 (I
also have Visual Studio installed).

2. The link works fine on my computer at work using PowerPoint 2003
(that does NOT have Visual Studio installed).

3. But the link does NOT work on a computer at school with PowerPoint
2003 (that does not have Visual Studio installed). The error message
says: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)."

Does anyone know what may be causing the inconsistency? I would
really like to include this program, but don't want to stick it on a
resume if it won't work on the person's computer!

Thanks!
Jessi

Couple of thoughts...

On computer number 3
Does it have the NET framework installed?
What is the PowerPoint security level set to?

I don't think so, but neither does Computer #2.

I think I'll just put a disclaimer on my slide that tells the user that
the VBA runtime files need to be installed in order to open the
application... unless you know of a way around this.

Thanks,
Jessi

Sorry... I hit "Send" before answering your second question. I don't
know what the security level is set to....I'll check it tomorrow.

Thanks!
