Vista's speech recognition working w/all Office 2007 except PowerP

When I try to dictate text into PowerPoint 2007 (text boxes, notes field,
whatever), the speech recognition module only asks the question, what was
that? I am not having problems with the speech recognition in any other
office 2007 product. I am even using a speech recognition to type this
question. Is there something obvious I am overlooking in PowerPoint 2007?

Hi -

I can not find how to turn on Text-to-Speech in my Word 2007. Do you know
how to do that?
