I have bought vista premium for my toshiba laptop. When I installed it I
discovered that some drivers were not working and there were no updates for
them. So I reinstalled xp. I also have a desktop that needs more memory for
vista. Before I buy the memory, I need to know will the vista premium licence
work on the desktop.

Did you buy a retail copy of Vista or an OEM copy? If it's a retail
copy, no problem. But if you saved money by buying an OEM copy, its
license ties it permanently it to the first computer it's installed on
and it may never be moved to another.
