Vista Won't Show my floppy Drive..

oh god.. lol vista is so screwed up.. LOL

I have used a program like that too.. cant remember its name.. macdrive?
something like that...

download autoruns (google autoruns) from the view make the microsoft items
hidden and then go to the driver tab to see what driver is being loaded...


STRANGO! have never seen this before

did you go into set up and make sure,floppy drive was not set to disabled...i
would think bad as vista is,it would pick up on a floppy drive,i think.a
floppy needs no software..am i right

I Have the same trouble.
I like the fopply because some people still save info and such to it.
With mine I have re-installed Vista 3 times now. (1 crash and 2 hardware
changes.)
all was fine with all my drives showing up including the floppy.
The tonight for no reason the floppy is not showing up at all.
I've not recently downloaded a program or down any upgrading that would get
rid of it.
I've tried all the suggestions above even taking it out completely.
It is visible in dos and even works as I tried it with the vista boot floppy
I have.
I have even used the read and write fuctions under dos.
But it still will not show under windows vista.
