When I click on Documents and settings I get the message;-

C:\Documents and settings is not accessible Access denied.

Documents and Setting has been replaced by 'Users' folder.

Example:
C:\Users\Andre Da Costa\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

They are hidden system shortcuts that just redirect the the new locations in
the AppData folder.

Same here, msnews, did you upgrade from a prior version of Windows? That
possibly why you are seeing it.

You have to show hidden files and show protected system files in Folder
Options to see these System Shortcuts. They redirect to the new folders for
legacy apps.

You have to deselect "Hide Protected Operating System Files" as well.
