Vista very slow with Outlook 2003, memory leak?

I have installed my Outlook 2003 on my new windows vista laptop with 1
GB of ram. Outlook seems to be running painfully slow. I also
noticed in the task manager the Outlook is gobbling up memory it
starts out at about 15 MB and has been as high as 300 MB of ram. I
read some postings that I should create a profile and .pst from
scratch. I did that but this does not seem to make a difference. Any
ideas?

This is not a Vista issue. Post this to a Outlook newsgroup. Meanwhile try OL\Help\Detect and Repair

A new .PST is probably not necessary, however, a new profile won't hurt at
all. I've seen some really bizarre Outlook behavior cured completely by
simply creating a new profile. As to other issues, this page may be of
