Vista Upgrade....

About this time last year, I bought a new Toshiba Equium A100 notebook, this
machine came with Windows XP Media Centre installed. When buying it, I was
informed that I could apply for a free Vista upgrade when it was released
earlier this year. I did apply for this and eventually received my discs
(Vista Home Premium Express Upgrade)
What I need to know is, if I upgrade to Vista with these discs and find that
I don't like it, will it be possible for me to go back to the original Media
Centre?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

No, you will have to do a clean install with your Windows XP Media Center
installation disk.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.
On the User Guide that came with the Vista discs, it mentioned that as part
of the upgrade, the bios would be upgraded. So that's why I wasn't sure
whether I would be able to return to Media Centre.

Well, I am sure the BIOS manufacturer would not intentionally block Windows
XP from being installed because of a BIOS update.
