Vista Home Premium Upgrade

Pancho

I have just received my Vista disc from Modus Link to upgrade my Toshiba
Laptop. If I use this disc to upgrade the operating system and I am not
happy with the result, will it be possible to return to Media Centre which I
am running now?
Thank You in advance for any replies.

Hi Pancho,

First off if your going to do as John suggested I suggest that you print it
out so that you can refer to it.

As far as installing your Vista on your machine. Assuming that you have more
than one HDD or partition you can install Vista seperately instead of over
XP. If when installing Vista you select "Custom" you can tell it to install
on another drive/partition. This way you can have your computer running as
dual boot. Doing it this way you can still have your XP and checkout and play
with Vista without having to make a total commitment. If after a while you
decide that you like Vista over XP you will then need to do a total gut and
clean to install Vista.
