I have not tried Thunderbird. Does it have the
numbered "References" like that Knode has which
allows one to go back to the beginning and look
at the postings in order - even when viewing
unread messages only? I also like the ability to
view the replies in color coded format. This
makes it a lot easier to follow thereads -
especially when there is a lot of top posting
going on. Either way - Linux beats the hell out
of outlook express.

As stated before, you're a troll.

To me honestly trolls are absolutely worthless.

Why not spend your time actually seeking answers rather than posting junk?

DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!!!

I had a look at your headers to see what you were using to write your posts

I hate Vista but I need a new laptop and it
only comes with Vista! Webmail is abother way
of Microsoft forcing you to PAY for an email
account to work with Web Mail. I love my
Outlook Express and now it won't work after
XP. There are a lot of bugs with Vista but I
am not sure if I can format my hard drive and
load XP on the Vista machine. If not I am
going Mac! Gates dropped a giant turd on this
"P" OS!

Why not go to an local computer shop and have them build you a
computer with Windows 98 or XP on it if you have or can get a legal
copy of one of those operating systems??

That is what I am thinking of doing after hearing my daughter complain
about her new system with Vista pre-installed!!

XP Pro is the way to go, for sure.

XP Pro is a waste unless you're connecting to a client-server network and
really need domain capability.
XP Media Center is recommended for the average home user.

I still use Windows ME at home.
I'll be debating on Windows XP 64 or Windows Vista for my next PC, depending
on the stability of Vista at the time, which will probably be next year.

Yup that's what I am using to write my posts.

What does that have to do with it though?

I have Vista Ultimate with Windows Mail on here as well.

I just choose to use this as I'm beta testing this product for MS as part of
the managed beta team.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to miss out on all that additional buggy DRM you
get in media centre as compared to XP pro.
