Mr. Arnold said:A Web site runs on a Web server so what does Vista have to do with this?
How many Web sites does XP support? What does the O/S have to do with how
many Web sites a Web server will support.
You got IIS7 running on the machine you would see it, and no one would
have to tell you, if you were all that, no insult.
BTW, I have been programming since 1980, and I have been doing Web
development off and on since 2000. I have been doing .Net Web development
since 2004. I got phone calls for me to take possible Web devilment
contracts from the East to West coast and to the North and South boarders
of the US.
What he really means is: He has had an etch-a-sketch since 1980 and has
read Charlotte's Web. He has been in rehab on and off since 2000 in cities
from the East Coast to the West Coast. He can't recognize the North and
South borders of the US.
As I matter of fact, I have a phone interview today at 3:30 pm EST for
contract up in northern OH for a major insurance company. I got another
one lined up on Wednesday, and have three more interviews for .Net
contracts coming up soon, so partner I more that have the expertise.
What he really means is: He is calling the phone company today at 3:30 EST
to speak to an Operator to help him figure out the numbers on the face of
the phone. What do the letters really mean?
I am not a Web server Admin, but I know my s*it about Web and workstation
business application development on the MS platform. I work for the big
boys the billion dolar companies contracting with Web server farms with a
state server, and not something happening at the workstation .![]()
What he really means is: He is not a Web admin. That means the spider webs
in the front yard are managed by his 12 year old neighbor. He has passed
billion dollar companies on the way to Wal-Mart, driving by a farm every
once in a while.
I have to go. I got to get ready for this phone interview.
What he really means is: I have to go. Mommy is taking me Potty in a few
minutes. I don't know how to do it.
