Vista sleep problems

I've finally managed to get vista to sleep properly (in the past it would
just wakeup after 2 seconds after setting the computer to go to sleep) but
now I have another problem.

Upon waking up the computer from sleep the network internet connection is
dead and no sites are reachable, I use the repair option for the network
card but it just reports back that there is something wrong with my ISP and
that I should contact them. A full reboot solves the problem and the
computer works fine so it's not a problem with my ISP.

I've unchecked the box so that vista doesn't turn off the network card's
power on both built on network cards but it still produces the problem of
the network internet being down upon waking from sleep.

Is there anything else that I need to do to make this work properly after
waking from sleep?

I downloaded the update but it's still the same situation. I've got to
disable then enable the network card that is built in so the update that you
linked didn't fix it for me.
