Vista Set Associations

Received and answer to adding an extension to the set associations but still
could not open the attachment with the .email extension.
When I attempted to open it simply returned to "Windows Mail" inbox.
Noted a difference between .eml and .email in that .eml description is
"Windows Mail E-Mail Message" and .email is "EMAIL File"! The .eml
attachments open properly and the .email attachments should be the same but
are not.

Help!
 
This isn't the best scenario, but a quick workaround is to get to the
attachment that actually has the .email extention. Right click the
attachment and click on Save As. This is important Save it to your desktop
renaming the file with an extension of .eml and the file will open without
any problem.
