Vista RTM and Adobe Flash Problems?

Anyone having problems with Adobe Flash Player 9 and Vista RTM?

I am using Vista Ultimate (RTM) and installed the latest Flash player from the
Adobe site (v9). I then went to the MS Vista web site, where a lot of Flash
is used, and it is just a flickering mess.

I have tried other sites that use Flash (who doesn't these days)
and it is the same thing. The Flash objects either flicker horribly
or they don't display properly (see Dell's web site).

So... is this Flash, MSIE, Video Drivers (I am using the Microsoft WDDM drivers for
my ATI card and Aero works fine.)

Thanks - but I think it's more than that. I also went to the MS KB site,
and that does not display properly either. All I get is a blank white box
where the fields normally are - for choosing products and typing in
keywords, etc. (I know this is not using Flash.)

I also noticed the versions of MSIE are different. I have IE 7 on my XP PC
and it is a different version than Vista...

XP SP2 - 7.0.5730
Vista - 7.0.6000

The exact build of IE7 I have on XP SP2... is this: (see screenshot)

This is the latest final version of IE7, so I guess the build difference
is because the other one is on vista. This is normal...

From what I understand its not IE7 fault or flashes fault since I
have run vista with flash on 3 computers with no such problems.

I am sure it has something to do with a driver or something specific on
your system.

Go to the Adobe Flash website and use the tool supplied to uninstall Flash..
then re-install it..

I went to the ATI site and got the latest Vista driver for my card
and installed it. Rebooted the PC. All looks OK, graphics card is OK
in Device Manager, and Windows says I have the latest version when
I try and update the driver.

I also used the Flash uninstall utility to uninstall Flash, then reinstalled it.
Same problem.

I then tried the MS KB site. Same problem- http://www.svrops.com/svrops/articles/kb2.htm
Ironically, I seem to be having more problems on MS web sites than any place else.

The driver I installed is a "BETA Driver", so maybe I will have to wait a while for another
version.

I never had a problem with Flash and vista... seems like a driver
problem to me.

Seems okay to me (nVidia card).

Only problem is that I have to launch a 32-bit browser when I visit a
flash site, since Adobe haven't bothered to release a 64-bit
version....

I'm not the only one.... ! I have a clean, fresh install of Vista too.
I am finding other problems with IE the more I use it. And it seems to
be mostly at the MS web sites. For example, Microsoft's home page does not
display properly and neither does the MS KB search page.

I'm wondering if it is a setting in IE, although I have played around
with it (set the security to it's lowest, checked advanced settings) and the issue remains.

Trying running the 32-bit version. Mine seems to work ok.

The 64-bit version fails.
