MY discourteous attitude?
Duh! Incorrect assumptions? Duh!
Research what?
Infantile netizens?
I am an adult and do not have the time nor the inclination.
Perhaps YOU should grow up!

| "another infantile term?"
| No, but your thinking it may be goes a long way to explain your discourteous
| attitude.
| Perhaps you should do a little research before making more incorrect
| assumptions.

Sorry, I don't speak French, nor do I speak Imbecile.

I wonder why one would hide behind a foreign language
in an English newsgroup?

Quelle coward

Is this an English <language> newsgroup? Is that laid-out in the
charter?

"Canada is officially bi-lingual.."

And Canada has what to do with this being an English language newsgroup.
Like I said I don't speak Imbecile!

Good Lord, another idiotic snipe!
There are MS Vista newsgroups for several languages -- including French.
(Unless, of course, the poster is so rude, unknowledgeable, or ignorant of
"netiquette" to realize this.)

What "charter"?
If this imaginary "charter" exists, where does it mandate simultaneous crossposting?

Yes, some newsgroups are lanquage dependent and their name states that.
There is nothing in the name of this newsgroup that says it is English only.
It can be used by anybody in any lanquage including English] especially by
those who do not have a designated newsgroup for their specific lanquage.

Ah, so you don't know anything about charters, faq's or public forums.

Why didn't you say so in the first place?

Software is about the only product we have that isn't supplied bi-lingual..
Canadian vacuum cleaners even say 'oh la la' in place of the usual clattery
sound when they pick up something indigestible.. :)

Oh, I thought it was a desperate call for help.
And I thought Canada was a very nice place.
Was going to suggest Amnesty International to help you.

I thought the educational system in the US had gone to the
dogs, but apparently Canada's system is worse than ours
if you are an example.

What would you know about courtesy and civility?
You are feebly attempting to defend a rude, condescending
arrogant <sigh> Rich Rogers<sigh>.

Another amateur psychoanalyst!
Get a grip, and take YOUR meds.

| Courtesy and civility, which you don't possess. Take your meds, <----- Isn't that infantile!
<-----just too, too trite and tired!
| please, por favor.

I installed the French language version of Avast on my Vista as I love
the soft female voice announcing 'la base de données des virus a été
mise à jour' after each update:)

I have to admit that a soft French female voice is difficult to resist..
after a heated battle with Sympatico one time, they put one on the other end
to me, and I just had to agree with everything she said.. mind you, she was
apologizing for them having lost my primary e-mail account, so that helped
too.. :)
