Vista RC1 won't start

Vista RC1 appeaars to load and install okay (Upgrade), however, on first
startup it reboots after the screen with rolling yellow bar at the bottom and
screen with "RC1 Bulild 5600" on the lower right. Reboots continuously until
action taken to rollback to previous OS (XP). Unable to start in Safe Mode
(or any other in menu).

My system does a similar reboot action at the last step before starting
build 5600 for the first time. I think this is a regristry problem after
looking at the panther logs
in the $windows files sources. Can anyone help us?

Are any of you trying the 64 bit version? I think there's a driver update
needed for SATA drives. But .......where? how? That install is somehow
incomplete.

32 bit version and no SATA for me, too.

I think I've got it. In case you gentlemen still haven't, let it wait,
overnight if possible, it will eventually install. I hit on that after
reading a lot of posts. Worked for others, worked for me. New set of problems
will begin! My win explorer keeps hanging for a start.
