Vista RC1 hangs on install

I am currently trying to install Vista RC1 but it loads the initial files and
then goes to a screen with a progress bar that just continues to cycle across
the screen forever. It never passes this point of the initial loading. Any
suggestions?

p.s. I previously installed this on my laptop with no problems.

My computer info is bellow.

3.2 Ghz Pentium D
2Gb or ram
75 GB WD Raptor SATA hard drive (wish to install on)
2 x 320 WD SATA raid
NVIDIA 6600 gt

Same scenario for me when trying a clean install booting from DVD, except I
don't even get the progress bar, no action... just a picture backgroundl.
Like Chris, it installed on my laptop no problem! However, it DOES install
from the XP desktop as an upgrade. Anyone any ideas?
