Vista profile loading incorrectly

Hi Guys,

This morning I updated my Windows Vista(business) and when I started up, I
get an error message to the effect that my profile has loaded incorrectly and
therefore a temporary profile has been loaded for me.

It is not running on a network and I am the computer administrator. How can
I reload my profile as it now consistently gives me this error.

I looked on the MS website and found a similar problem referring to profiles
and domains, but the solution provided there did not cure the problem.

I have also done a couple of system restores to no avail.

Please help!

Many thanks

Kenny

Hi Kenny,

Generally, once a user profile is corrupt there is no recovering it. Create
a new one for yourself in the Control Panel and copy your data files to it.
