Vista or XP on Eee?

Hi, I'm just raising my voice here. I'm not a Vista fan, and plan to
buy an Eee soon, so I'm wondering whether the new Eee will have XP on
it (I actually read abt it recently on this site... i think its
techqi.blogspot.com) but people have already hacked Vista on to Eee
(just Google for it, I forgot... sry). Any thoughts?

Depends on which one you would get.
512MB RAM/4GB HDD model or 1GB RAM/8GB HDD model?

The former - Windows XP.
The latter could go either way if you know what you are doing - but... I'd
likely still choose to put XP on it.

The Eee PC has a customized version of Xandros Linux on it. It is very
hackable and people have installed XP (which reportedly runs well),
Vista (meh), Tiger (works with reservations), and Leopard (slow and with
reservations). There is a very active user population and the OP should
