XP and VISTA?

Can I install Vista along side XP as a dual boot system? I have a dual core
64bit cpu. Will I have to get the vista drivers for all my hardware or will
Vista have these already for me? I'm planning on buying a second sata hard
disk to install Vista. Just hope this is gonna be not to much trouble. Any
advice much appreciated.

It is likely you will need to find many drivers. This depends on your
configuration which is unstated.

This may be the least of the issues.

Q1 Yes, but remember each time you boot up XP it will remove all your Vista
restore points, shadow copies etc.

Q2. Probably, check your motherboard manufacturers site to see if there are
Vista drivers (same goes for video card, sound card etc.)

Vista might include basic device drivers, if the devices' various
manufacturers bothered to provide them to Microsoft in time to be testes
and included. If in doubt, consult the components' manufacturers.
