Vista major annoyance

Under folder options I have it set to remember the last view used but it
never does. I like the list view in explorer for most folders but in Vista
it is continually setting it back to detailed view. Even my games foldder
in the start menu and the control panel seems to have a mind of its own and
changes between icon view and detailed view on ocassion. WTF hasn't this
been fixed? It's not like Vista was just released yesterday FFS. If I set a
folder to list view I want it to stay as ****ing list view!
