Vista mail defalt

Rick and Barb

Windows will not let me make Windows Mail my default mail program.

I hit default in the options menu and it always goes back to "Windows Mail
not your default program"

Don't work. No Windows in Default Programs - just "Windows Mail (News)" not
the same thing.

There should be an entry for "Windows Mail", and the "Windows Mail (News)"
Does Windows Mail work?
Do you have another email program installed, like Outlook?
Have you tried rebooting the computer?
 
There is not an entry for "Windows Mail but is one for Windows Mail (News)
in the default directory.
